Sophie Bleves is an Assistant Professor at Aix-Marseille University (AMU) and co-leader of a research team at LISM (CNRS-AMU). Her academic journey began with studies in Lyon, followed by a PhD at AMU focused on secretion machinery in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. After a postdoctoral fellowship in Brussels studying Yersinia enterocolitica, she returned to AMU in 2000 to continue her work on bacterial virulence mechanisms.
