Sophia Stutzmann is a Research Fellow at Sciences Po's Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE) and Observatory of Market Society Polarization (AXPO). She joined in September 2025 after completing her PhD at the University of Konstanz and a visiting scholarship at the University of Oxford. Her academic background includes dual master's degrees from Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics.
Her research examines the intersection of green transition policies, labor markets, and political behavior. Current work analyzes retraining policy preferences for ecological transitions. Previously, she taught comparative political economy at Konstanz.
