Soosan Beheshti is a Professor and Program Director in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University. She holds a B.S. from Isfahan University of Technology and M.S./Ph.D. from MIT. Her research focuses on signal processing, statistical learning, and information theory, with applications in biomedical systems, data denoising, and system modeling. She has received awards such as the Dean's Teaching Award (2010) and the EECS Carlton E. Tucker Award (1998).
