Sonja Smets is a full professor of Logic and Epistemology at the University of Amsterdam, affiliated with both the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Humanities in the Department of Philosophy. She joined the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation (ILLC) in 2012 and served as its scientific director from June 2016 to July 2021.
