Sonja Filiposka is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. She earned her BSc, MSc, and PhD in Electrical Engineering with honors in 2003, 2007, and 2009 respectively, and has been affiliated with the Institute of Computer Science at her faculty since 2003, progressing from junior assistant to assistant professor.
Her research interests span wireless mobile ad hoc networks, complex networks, computer networks, applicative software, parallel computing, electromagnetic compatibility, and advocacy for women in engineering. These areas reflect interdisciplinary work in network systems, computational methods, and engineering education.
