Sonja Babac

Sonja Babac is a Doctoral Candidate at the Eindhoven University of Technology, affiliated with the College of Engineering and the Electrical Engineering department. She is a member of the Biomedical Diagnostics Lab and contributes to the MEDEIA (Medical Engineering, Innovations and Applications) project under the Eindhoven MedTech Innovation Center.

Her research spans Biomedical Engineering, Signal Processing, and Medical Diagnostics, with a focus on integrating Electrical Engineering principles into Medical Engineering applications. She is also involved in teaching, specifically in the course Monitoring of respiration and circulation, which aligns with her work in Respiratory and Circulatory Monitoring.

She collaborates on the MEDEIA project (2022–2027), a third-tier initiative involving multidisciplinary researchers such as M. M. van Gilst, F. Hafkamp, and M. Mischi. Her contributions include developing signal processing systems for medical diagnostics, reflecting her expertise in both Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Applications.
