Sonia Rodriguez Cano

Sonia Rodriguez Cano serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education Sciences at the Faculty of Education, Universidad de Burgos, specializing in Didactics and School Organisation.

She earned her PhD from Universidad de Burgos in 2016 with the thesis "Influencia de los primeros años de vida (0-3) en el segundo ciclo de educación infantil" (Influence of the first years of life (0-3) on the second cycle of early childhood education), supervised by Dr. Davinia Heras Sevilla and Dr. María Isabel García Alonso.

Her research spans Early Childhood Education, Didactics, and School Organisation, with a strong emphasis on Educational Inclusion and Educational Technology through active participation in the EDINTEC research group. This work focuses on leveraging technology to create inclusive learning environments, particularly in preschool settings.

As a member of EDINTEC, she contributes to interdisciplinary projects addressing contemporary educational challenges while mentoring within the university's PhD program in Education (UBU).
