Sonia Guzman Pina

Sonia Guzman Pina is a Part-time Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology, Dentistry, Radiology and Physical Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Universidad de Murcia. She specializes in Pediatric Dentistry and Endodontics research focusing on regenerative techniques and mineralization disorders. Her doctoral thesis examined dentin microhardness in regenerative endodontic procedures.

Research investigates molar-incisor hypomineralization (MIH) etiological factors, dental material interactions, and oral health education strategies. Recent work examines associations between perinatal medications and enamel development using experimental models.
