Sonia Brondi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy and Cultural Heritage at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. She specializes in Social Psychology with a focus on environmental justice, sustainable energy transitions, and techno-scientific controversies. Her work bridges psychological insights with societal challenges, addressing topics like disaster risk management, public perception of science, and gender inequalities in STEM.
Brondi holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Padua and has held research positions at Sapienza University of Rome and the University of Bologna. Her research integrates qualitative methods such as photovoice and participatory projects to explore community responses to environmental degradation and energy policy implementation.
