Song Hu

Song Hu is a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the McKelvey School of Engineering, Washington University in St. Louis. He previously served as an Associate Professor at the University of Virginia. His research focuses on developing advanced optical and photoacoustic imaging technologies for in vivo applications in neurovascular disorders, cardiovascular diseases, and cancer. He leads a lab that invented multi-parametric photoacoustic microscopy and pioneered high-resolution imaging techniques for the awake behaving brain.
