Sommer Aldulaimi, MD, FAAFP is a Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. She serves as Co-Director of the Global and Border Health Program, Medical Director of the Tucson Family Advocacy Program, and Medical Director of Refugee Health Programs for the Family Medicine Residency Program.

Research Interests: Dr. Aldulaimi specializes in global health, rural health, and underresourced medicine, with a focus on simulations, emergency scenarios, maternal-child health, and refugee care. Her work bridges clinical practice and education to address healthcare disparities both domestically and internationally.
Clinical Expertise: She practices full-spectrum family medicine, including adult inpatient care, obstetrics, newborn care, and refugee health. She co-founded the refugee complex care model, now expanded to multiple clinics, and has worked in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, Tanzania, Myanmar, and Bangladesh.
