PD Dr. Solveig Hansen serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Bremen, primarily affiliated with the Institute for Ethics and History of Medicine. She concurrently holds a position at the Institute for Public Health and Nursing Research (IPP) and leads the Public Health Ethics and Health Humanities working group within this institute.
Her research centers on Medical Ethics, History of Medicine, Public Health Ethics, and Health Humanities, exploring the ethical frameworks governing medical practice, historical evolution of healthcare systems, and integration of humanities perspectives into public health discourse.
