Solveig Fernagu is a Research Director at CESI (Engineering School) within the LINEACT Research Group, focusing on the Learning and Innovation theme. She leads projects exploring the impact of environments on learning conditions, emphasizing soft skills development and pedagogical innovations. Previously, she served as a Senior Lecturer at Paris Nanterre University (2008–2020) in the Department of Educational Sciences, specializing in adult learning and training. Her roles include thesis supervision, academic leadership, and editorial board memberships in journals like Formation Emploi and SAVOIRS.
Her research interests span learning organizations, enabling environments, professionalization, and capabilities. Key projects include analyzing how teaching practices foster soft skills in university settings and characterizing learning experiences in professional contexts. She has contributed over 15 peer-reviewed articles, 7 book chapters, and numerous research reports on topics like skill development in the police sector and reciprocal knowledge networks.

Her work bridges theory and practice, designing digital educational content (e.g., video capsules on skills and learning) and advising institutions like the National Police and ONF on enabling learning environments. She actively supervises doctoral research, including studies on organizational change impacts on learning and technology integration in education.
