Pere Soler Maso is a full professor at the Department of Pedagogy, University of Girona. His research focuses on youth policies, child and youth participation, community development, leisure education, and socio-cultural animation. He leads studies on youth empowerment through free-time activities and socio-cultural programs.
He coordinates the Official Interuniversity Master in Youth and Society (MIJS) and co-directs the Research Group on Childhood, Youth and Community (LIBERI) at the Institute for Educational Research (UdG). His work includes projects like the HEBE Project on youth empowerment, local youth policy evaluation (2010), and student participation in university governance (2008).
He was director of the E/S Collection (Social Education) (1997-2005) and serves as evaluator for academic journals and national youth organizations. His research emphasizes the role of socio-cultural associations in youth development.
