Sofie van Weelden is a doctoral candidate at the Technical University of Eindhoven (TU/e), affiliated with the Signal Processing Systems group within the Department of Electrical Engineering. She is part of the Eindhoven MedTech Innovation Center and collaborates with Máxima Medical Centre. Her research focuses on evaluating the feasibility of remote electrophysiological cardiotocography (eCTG) in high-risk pregnancies, addressing signal quality, maternal and perinatal outcomes, patient wellbeing, healthcare provider experiences, and cost-effectiveness.
