Sofie Bastiansen is a Research Fellow and PhD candidate in the Department of Education at the University of Oslo (UiO). Her research focuses on dialogic learning, ICT integration in education, and classroom interaction dynamics in higher education settings. She holds a Master's in Pedagogy (2017) from the University of Oslo and previously worked as a junior high school teacher in Borgheim. Bastiansen’s work explores technology-supported conversational practices in educational contexts, as highlighted in her thesis on digital micro-blogging tools like Samtavla. She actively contributes to courses such as PED4403 (Knowledge Development in Expert Communities) and PED1001 (Learning and Teaching). Her publications address peer mentoring frameworks for faculty development and the evolution of teaching evaluation practices in academia.
