Sofia Roberg

Sofia Roberg is a Research Fellow at Stockholm University's Department of Culture and Aesthetics. Her work bridges ecopoetics, zoopoetics, and posthumanism, focusing on how literature reimagines human relationships with non-human entities in the Anthropocene.

• Current postdoc project reinterprets Gustaf Fröding through ecopoetic and zoopoetic frameworks.
• Member of Forum Modernism, a research group exploring modernist literature's ecological dimensions.

Selected Publications include studies on dark ecopoetics, ecological incantations, and linguistic strategies in Scandinavian environmental poetry (2012–2021). Her 2022 dissertation "Besvärja världen" established ecopoetics as a critical tool.
