Sofia Mavropoulou

Sofia Mavropoulou is an Associate Professor at the School of Education, Queensland University of Technology, specializing in Inclusive Education and Autism Education. She serves as Study Area Coordinator for the Inclusive Education Specialisation in the Master of Education program. Dr. Mavropoulou holds a PhD in autism and theory of mind from Durham University and a Master of Education in Special Educational Needs with Distinction from Lancaster University, supported by scholarships from the Greek State Scholarships Foundation and Durham University.

Her research focuses on inclusive education, autism support strategies, and disability rights.
