Sneha Prabha Narra

Sneha Prabha Narra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), with a courtesy appointment in Materials Science and Engineering. She leads the EMIT Lab, focusing on advancing metals additive manufacturing technology. Her research emphasizes digital twins, machine learning, and materials characterization. She joined CMU in 2021 after three years at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).

Education: B.E. in Civil Engineering (Osmania University, 2012), M.S. in Computational Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering (CMU, 2013–2015), and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering (CMU, 2017). Postdoctoral training at CMU’s NextManufacturing Center.
