Slavica Čepić is a Research Associate at the Department of Landscape Architecture and Horticulture, Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade. She holds a PhD in Landscape Architecture and Horticulture (2017) and dual Master's degrees in International Cooperation and Urban Development from Technical University of Darmstadt and University of Grenoble 2. Her academic work focuses on urban gardens, public participation in landscape planning, and green infrastructure development.

Slavica's research explores the socio-economic dimensions of urban gardens and their integration into green space systems. She has contributed to legislative frameworks for green infrastructure and analyzed migrant impacts on landscapes through cross-cultural studies.
Her scientific awards include a Special Plaque in 2011 and a Plaque for Unrealized Projects in 2015 from the Belgrade Landscape Architecture Salon. She teaches courses in Public Participation in Landscape Architecture and Protected Area Management at both undergraduate and master's levels.
