Dr. Siu Ning (Sunny) Leung is an Associate Professor and Undergraduate Program Director in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at York University's Lassonde School of Engineering. He holds a B.A.Sc., M.Eng., and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto. His research focuses on micro-and-nanostructuring of materials for applications in aerospace, biomedical devices, and sustainable energy. Key areas include multifunctional materials, nanocellular foams, and radiative cooling technologies. He has been recognized with the W.A. Miller-PhD Graduate Student Scholarship and the Ontario Post-Doctoral Fellowship Award. Dr. Leung's work integrates advanced manufacturing, material science, and thermodynamics to develop eco-friendly and high-performance materials.
Education: B.A.Sc., M.Eng., PhD in Mechanical Engineering, University of Toronto.
Research interests include biobased materials, thermal management systems, and nanocomposites.
