Siobhan Mei is a Teaching Professor in the College of Information and Computer Sciences (CICS) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her research focuses on the intersections of fashion, narrative, and translation in Black Atlantic literary traditions, with expertise in multilingual and multimodal writing education. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from UMass Amherst (2022), a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Feminist Studies (2021), and multiple MA degrees in Comparative Literature (UMass Amherst, 2018; Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris III, 2013).

Her work bridges literary translation and digital humanities, co-founding the project Rendering Revolution, which explores Haitian history and literature through material culture. She has published in journals like The Routledge Handbook on Translation, Feminism, and Gender and Callaloo.
