Siobhan K. Mack

Dr Siobhan K. Mack is the Head of the Speech and Hearing Sciences Division and a Senior Lecturer at Queen Margaret University (QMU). She holds a BSc (Hons), PhD, MRCSLT, and PGCert in Professional and Higher Education. As Programme Leader for the PgDip/MSc (pre-registration) in Speech and Language Therapy, she focuses on clinical education and workplace preparation. She is an affiliate member of the Clinical Audiology, Speech and Language Research Centre (CASL).

• Clinical Affiliations: Works part-time in NHS Lothian's Adult Learning Disability Service.
• Research Interests: Impact of lifelong disabilities (intellectual, sensory, physical) on communication, AAC, and wellbeing.
• Committee Roles: Scottish Clinical Excellence Network (CEN) for Learning Disabilities.

Her teaching emphasizes communication challenges in complex cases and offers student support through application/interview clinics. Awards include the 2014-15 Postgraduate Teaching Award and multiple nominations for excellence in teaching and support.
