Sinu Rose is a Visiting Professor and Cottrill Rolfes Postdoctoral Scholar (2021-2024) at the University of Kentucky's Department of History. Their research focuses on South Asian religious history, non-Western Christian traditions, and the intersection of science and religion. Rose has taught courses such as HIS 330: History of Western Religious Thought to Reformation and HIS 349: Western Christianity and Scientific Thought.

Rose has published on topics such as early Christian communities in South India, Portuguese colonial influence on Kerala's church architecture, and critical analysis of colonial-era missionary documents like Dom Alexis De Menezes's Jornada.
