Sinn Yang is a Korean-born violinist affiliated with the University of Music Würzburg. She currently serves as a PartTime Lecturer in the Department of Violin (PreCollege), temporarily taking over Max Speermann's class since December 2016. Her career spans principal violin roles with prestigious orchestras like the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra (since 2014/15) and concertmaster positions at state theaters in Meiningen, Darmstadt, Nuremberg, and the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
Her educational background includes formal training at the University of Music Würzburg under Max Speermann and at the Lübeck University of Music under Prof. Thomas Brandis, where she graduated in 2009 with a 'soloist class' distinction. She performs extensively in chamber music partnerships with artists like Thomas Brandis and the Henschel Quartet.
