Sinisa Durovic

Sinisa Durovic is a Lecturer in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The University of Manchester. His research focuses on electric machines and drives, condition monitoring, sensorless techniques, and applications in renewables and transport. He holds a Dipl. Ing. from the University of Montenegro (2002) and a Ph.D. from The University of Manchester (2007).

His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in advancing renewable energy systems and sustainable transport. Key research areas include modeling of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM), fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors for condition monitoring, and drive applications in wind turbines and electric vehicles.
