Sining Wang serves as Assistant Professor of Economics at Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management and holds the position of Associate Director for the xLab. Appointed in 2019, he maintains active teaching and research roles within the Department of Economics.
His educational background includes a PhD in Economics from the University of Connecticut (2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Renmin University of China (2009), establishing foundational expertise in quantitative economic analysis and financial systems.
Wang's research program bridges computational economics, behavioral game theory, and AI-driven pedagogical innovation. His experimental work examines heterogeneous cooperation in social dilemmas and contextual drivers of unethical behavior, while concurrently developing frameworks for integrating artificial intelligence into economics education to enhance critical thinking skills. This dual focus creates synergies between theoretical economic modeling and practical educational transformation.
