Sini Kuosmanen

Sini Kuosmanen is a doctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki's Department of Food and Nutrition, affiliated with the Consumer Studies Research Group and the Doctoral Programme in Political, Societal and Regional Change. Her work focuses on plant-based diets, consumer behavior, and sustainable food systems.

Research interests include analyzing capabilities, opportunities, and motivations for dietary transitions, particularly around legumes and plant-based meat alternatives. Recent publications explore sociodemographic barriers, behavioral models (COM-B), and cultural shifts toward sustainable eating practices.
