Sinhue Torres-Valdes

Dr. Sinhue Torres-Valdes is a Chemical Oceanographer and Marine Biogeochemist at the Alfred Wegener Institute, leading the Nutrient Facility and the FRAM Task 4.4 on Biogeochemical Sensors. His research focuses on nutrient and carbon cycles in polar and Atlantic oceans, climate change impacts, and physical-biological interactions. He is actively involved in major expeditions such as MOSAiC and contributes to long-term Arctic observations.
