Dr. Sina Mews is a research assistant at the Chair of Statistics and Data Analysis within the Faculty of Economics at Bielefeld University, and is affiliated with the Department of Empirical Methods in the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics. She is also a doctoral student in subproject D06 of the DFG Collaborative Research Centre SFB/Transregio 212 "NC³: A Novel Synthesis of Individualization across Behavior, Ecology and Evolution" and is associated with the Bielefeld Center for Data Science (BiCDaS).
Her research lies at the intersection of statistical modeling and empirical methods applied to questions in behavioral ecology and evolutionary biology. As part of the NC³ project, her work contributes to understanding niche construction, conformance, and choice through quantitative data analysis. Her affiliation with BiCDaS underscores her expertise in advanced data science techniques.
Dr. Mews is actively engaged in interdisciplinary research funded by major German research organizations. She collaborates within a large network of researchers focused on individualization processes in biological systems, utilizing sophisticated statistical tools to analyze complex behavioral and ecological datasets.
She is based in office UHG V9-126 and contributes to a research environment that emphasizes methodological rigor and cross-disciplinary collaboration between economics, statistics, and the life sciences.
