Simone Schaub-Meyer

Simone Schaub-Meyer is an Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Darmstadt, affiliated with the Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence (hessian.AI). Her research focuses on developing efficient, robust, and interpretable methods for image and video analysis, particularly in neural networks and explainable AI. She leads her own research group, funded by the DFG Emmy Noether Programme, and previously held postdoctoral positions at TU Darmstadt’s Visual Inference Lab and ETH Zurich’s Media Technology Center. Her doctoral work at ETH Zurich, advised by Prof. Markus Gross, earned the ETH Medal for contributions to motion representation and video frame interpolation.
