Simone Melzi

Simone Melzi is an Assistant Professor (tenure track) at the University of Milano-Bicocca in the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication (DISCo). He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Università Degli Studi di Verona (2018) and a Master's in Mathematics from the University of Milan ‘La Statale’ (2013). His research focuses on geometry processing, 3D shape analysis, and geometric deep learning. He has received notable awards including the Marie-Curie Individual Fellowship (score 92.20/100) and the BE-FOR-ERC 2020 grant as Principal Investigator.
