Simone Hallstein is a Research Associate at the Graduate School 2212 'Dynamiken der Konventionalität (400-1550)' at the University of Cologne since October 2021. Her research focuses on anti-Semitism and media change in the Late Middle Ages, with prior concentrations on Jewish representation in historical debates and Ottoman cultural perceptions. She holds a Master of Arts in History from Justus Liebig University Giessen, funded by the Studienstiftung, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Cultural Studies.
