Simone Balvers is a Researcher at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management at Tilburg University. Her research focuses on retail operations in emerging markets, utilizing experimental and econometric techniques to advance understanding in this domain.

- MSc in Operations Management and Logistics (Eindhoven University of Technology)
- BSc in Industrial Engineering (Eindhoven University of Technology)
Her research is supported by the Dutch Research Council (NWO), and she is supervised by Prof. Dr. ir. Jan Fransoo and Dr. Eirini Spiliotopoulou. Simone is affiliated with the Center Ph.D. Students at TiSEM and is expected to graduate in 2025.
