Simona Samardzhiska, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Her academic work focuses on cryptography, network and information security, algorithm design, and data mining, alongside contributions to machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Her research spans both theoretical and applied aspects of computer science, particularly in cybersecurity and algorithmic innovation. She has supervised 14 Ph.D. students and over 20 master's students, contributing significantly to academic mentorship.
She is affiliated with the Laboratory of Cryptography and Security Technologies, advancing practical applications in security protocols. Her scholarly achievements include awards such as the 'Young Researcher' recognition from her university in 2007.
