Simon Sohre

Prof. Dr. Simon Sohre is a Professor of Social Work Science and Sustainability Officer at the Hochschule für Soziale Arbeit und Pädagogik Freiburg. His primary appointment is in the Department of Social Work Science, where he leads the Professorship for Social Work Science. He actively contributes to the university's sustainability initiatives and academic leadership.

Research focuses include social work practice innovations, sustainability in social systems, and equity in energy transition policies. He leads projects like QuebIn (quality development in early childhood education), SocialPROFit (academic workforce development), and analyses on pandemic-related domestic violence.
