Simon Rippon

Simon Rippon is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Philosophy and Public Policy at Central European University (CEU). He holds a PhD (2010, Harvard), AM (Harvard), and BA (Oxford in Philosophy/Theology). His research focuses on applied ethics, epistemology, metaethics, and political philosophy. Key projects include the EU Horizon 2020-funded ETHOS project (2017–2020), where he explored political theory methodologies, and the Austrian FWF Cluster of Excellence 'Knowledge in Crisis'.

He has served on CEU's Ethical Research Committee (2013–2022, Chair 2020–2022) and OSUN's Human Subject Research Ethics Board.
