Simon Peter

Simon Peter is an Associate Professor in the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Washington since 2022. His research focuses on operating systems, networking, and energy-efficient data center systems. Previously, he held positions as an Assistant Professor at UT Austin (2016–2022) and earned his Ph.D. (Dr. sc. ETH) from ETH Zurich in 2012, with a Dipl.-Inf. from Carl-von-Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in 2006.
