Dr. Simon Lane is a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the Chemical Biology, Diagnostics and Therapeutics research group and the Spectroscopy, Spectrometry, and Structure group. His research focuses on advancing biomedical technologies, including surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) for non-invasive monitoring in assisted reproduction, laser-based viral inactivation, and microscopy innovations like second harmonic generation light sheet microscopy.
