Simon Kelderman

Dr. Simon Kelderman is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Agricultural Engineering at the University of Southern Queensland. He has been affiliated with the institution since 2015, working on engineering research and development projects.

Research interests focus on:

• Evapotranspiration measurement and management
• Micrometeorology
• Irrigation design, measurement, and management
• Low-cost sensor development for agricultural applications

His work includes contributions to the Smarter Irrigation for Profit projects (1 and 2), and he is currently developing a novel real-time soil evaporation and plant transpiration measurement technology.
