Dr Simon Jacklin is a Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice and Director of Education at Keele University's School of Allied Health Professions and Pharmacy. A graduate of Keele's School of Pharmacy and Bioengineering, his career combines academic leadership with clinical pharmacy experience in both community and hospital settings. His research focuses on healthcare professional education, particularly clinical decision-making, consultation skills, and virtual patient simulations. He leads the Keele Centre for Medicines Optimisation (KCMO) and oversees interprofessional education initiatives. His teaching spans undergraduate pharmacy students and postgraduate healthcare professionals, emphasizing evidence-based medicine and ethical dilemmas.
