Simon Houston

Dr. Simon Houston is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine at Dalhousie University, with a cross-appointment to the Department of Surgery (Division of Thoracic Surgery). He serves as the Program Director for the Adult Respirology Residency Training Program and Medical Director of the QE-II Endobronchial Ultrasound and Malignant Pleural Effusion Services. His clinical expertise focuses on interventional pulmonology and thoracic oncology, with particular skill in EBUS, advanced airway procedures, and minimally invasive chest techniques.

He contributes to the Respirology Training Program Competency Committee and collaborates with the Thoracic Oncology Group for multidisciplinary patient care.
