Dr. Simon Egbert is a Researcher in the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University, specializing in the sociology of prediction, digitalization, and socio-technical systems. He leads projects on algorithmic forecasting in policing and the social consequences of predictive technologies. His research spans predictive policing, datafication, and qualitative methodology.
