Silvia Lopes

Silvia Lopes serves as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences (FPCE), University of Coimbra, Portugal, and maintains an integrated research affiliation with CICPSI (Centro de Investigação em Ciências Psicológicas) at the University of Lisbon.

Her academic credentials include a Psychology degree and Ph.D. in Human Resources, Work, and Organizational Psychology from the University of Lisbon.

Her research spans Organizational Psychology, Work Psychology, and Ergonomics, with significant contributions in career development, stress management, and sustainability. Publications appear in high-impact journals including Frontiers in Psychology, Career Development International, and International Journal of Stress Management, reflecting interdisciplinary work at the intersection of organizational behavior and human well-being.

As a core lecturer, she teaches Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior: Theoretical Perspectives, Ergonomics and Human Factors, and Intervention in Work Psychology for both the Master’s in Organizational Psychology and the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree (EMJMDWOPP) programs.
