Silvia Galvan Pena

Silvia Galvan Peña is an Assistant Professor in the Program of Microbiome Dynamics at UMass Chan Medical School, affiliated with the T.H. Chan School of Medicine's Department of Microbiology. She also holds positions in multiple programs at the Morningside Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, including Biochemistry and Molecular Biotechnology, Cancer Biology, Immunology and Microbiology Program, and Translational Science.

• Education: BA in Immunology (2013) and PhD in Biochemistry & Immunology (2018), both from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland).
