Silvia Cavalieri-Dep is a Research Fellow (RTD-B) at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, University of Verona. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Languages and Cultures from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Previously, she served as a junior research fellow (RTD-A) at the Department MEMOTEF, Sapienza University of Rome, and lectured at the Universities of Ferrara, Parma, and Milan.

Her publications analyze cross-cultural legal discourse, medical communication (e.g., ketogenic diet discourse), and textual ethnography in healthcare materials. She teaches English language courses across bachelor’s and master’s programs, including academic writing and professional communication.
She is affiliated with research centers like the Digital Arena for Inclusive Humanities (DAIH) and contributes to professional development courses in English for business and intercultural mediation.
