Silvana Tenreyro is a Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Her roles include Director of the CEPR International Macroeconomics and Finance Programme, former External Member of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee, and former President of the European Economic Association. She holds prestigious fellowships including the British Academy and the Econometric Society, and was honored as a Commander of the British Empire.
Education: PhD in Economics (Harvard University, 2002), MA in Economics (Harvard, 1999), and BA in Economics (Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, Argentina, 1997).
