Silke Kubik

Silke Kubik is a Researcher at the Institute of Didactics of German Language and Literature, University of Göttingen. She has been in this role since 2012, following prior research assistant roles at the University of Hildesheim (2010–2012) and postdoctoral training after her 2006 PhD. Her work bridges literary studies, education, and qualitative methodologies.

Research interests focus on literary reception processes in classrooms, emotional responses to literature, and qualitative methods like Grounded Theory and Verbal Protocols. Her current project, PRA:LIRE (since October 2023), examines linguistic patterns in literary reception across school levels, funded by Pro*Niedersachsen.

Selected publications span 2008–2023, covering metaphor analysis, grounded theory applications, and comparative reception studies. She contributes to empirical German didactic frameworks and edited volumes on evaluative aesthetic reception.

Supervision: Advises BA, MA, and M.Ed theses in German didactics, emphasizing interdisciplinary methodologies in literary interpretation.
