Dr. Silke Haas is an Academic Councillor at the Institute of Sports Science, Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. She serves as Deputy Head of Program and Student Advisor for Sports Education, specializing in teacher training, inclusive education, and quality development in youth elite sports. She will be on leave from October 1, 2023, to March 31, 2025, to assume a substitute professorship.
- Research Focus: Sports pedagogy, handling diversity in sports instruction, and didactic aspects of running, jumping, and throwing.
- Projects: Involved in DiPlan (Digital Simulation Game Colloquium) and PlanL (Simulation Games in Teacher Training), integrating VR and simulation games into education.
Awards: Recipient of the 2004 Scientific Award at the Young Researcher Seminars for her work on young elite athletes and education.
