Silje Hagelund is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the CREATE Centre for Research on Equality in Education, University of Oslo. Her research focuses on language development, multilingualism, and open science methodologies. She holds a Master’s in Developmental Psychology (2023) and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Scandinavian Studies and Developmental Psychology (2019).

Her work investigates infant-directed speech, early language interventions, and the role of parental leave duration on communication patterns. Notable projects include the Eyehub MA Grant (2022) as Principal Investigator.
Key achievements include the Open Science Award 2022 and publications in Journal of Child Language. She contributes to the Experimental Linguistics research group and has affiliations with the Babyling Lab and MultiLing Centre for Multilingualism.
